A renewable future for Drumhillery PS

13th Jan 2020

We were delighted to hear recently that our PV system will be repaired in the near future, courtesy of funding from Action Renewables who have donated £15 000 to schools across NI to fund repair work on all photovoltaic systems. PV systems, a renewable energy technology used to transfer energy from the sun into electricity, more commonly known as solar panels, have been installed into a number of EA schools. It's estimated that the post repair renewable technologies will generate a total return of £85 000 for the schools involved, in the first year alone.

The photo shows some pupils from Drumhillery helping to promote the good news. Also pictured is Mr Campbell, Principal, Terry Waugh CEO at Action Renewables and Robert McConnell, EA.
