Summer Scheme Week 1

19th Jul 2021

Summer Scheme Day 1

Great start to our Summer Scheme today, well done everyone! We had Mini Olympics, Playground Games, Rounders, Tag Rugby and much more! Everyone had a super day and enjoyed seeing their friends again.

Summer Scheme Day 2

Brilliant day for everyone at Summer Scheme again! The children absolutely loved  the Crossfire - Not Ashamed Workshop and had such fun with the X Box games. There was a real buzz in our Assembly Hall throughout.

They also really enjoyed the Music and Drama Activities outside with Mrs Boyd and was great to see the teachers join in too!

Gosford tomorrow (Wed) and as you know it's going to be very warm again so please remember about sun cream, sun hats, packed lunch and a bottle of water☀️☀️

Keep checking our website as photos will be added regularly!

Summer Scheme Day 3

Kids enjoyed a walk around Gosford Forest Park, following the adventure trail and playing in all the new areas. They enjoyed the zip line, low ropes course and climbing walls. Main park was a big hit too, lots of swinging, sliding and fun!

Summer Scheme Day 4

Today we were delighted to welcome CJ, a football coach from Ambassadors who delivered 2 super sessions for the children. The emphasis was on fun and enjoyment and there was definitely something for everyone!⚽⚽⚽

The teachers also organised table top games and board games for the indoor session, which seemed to go down very well 😊

Again, check out our website for photos from every day this week.

Summer Scheme Day 5

An action packed first week of Summer Scheme has ended and Friday was another fantastic day 😊😊!

We had Kevin from Sentinus visit for a STEM workshop which involved the children making electric cars and racing them (Grand Prix style) in the Assembly Hall. Kevin was very impressed to see how well everyone worked together to complete the finished product!

We also enjoyed Slip n Slide outside on the football pitch, a great way to cool down ☀️☀️☀️ in the soaring temperatures!

Mrs Bruce organised a healthy break for everyone, which included pancakes, a range of fruit and a drink of juice.

Well done everyone for having a great week and for excellent behaviour.

We go again on Monday morning as Glenn and the team from 'Go Fly Your Kite' visit Drumhillery. Everyone will get the chance to plan, design and fly a kite. Should be great fun!
